IPS B- Earth Science is a semester-long course that provides the student with an overview of the principals of earth science while building the necessary skills that students need to be successful in science. It is designed for the student that would benefit from a slower pace than the traditional B level IPS course. This semester course centers on the how the earth changes over time and how humans are impacting the earth. Students are expected to participate in a variety of activities including lab experiences. Special emphasis is placed on skill development such as reading, writing, organization, problem solving and study skills.
