Non-Western Civilizations II is a semester long course that fulfills half of the “World Civilizations” requirement at EO Smith. Students will focus on two regions of the world; Africa and Latin America.  Students will delve into historical, political, and cultural values in these places and how socio-economic conditions have often driven actions (Both big and small) in these regions of the world.  Both section will also consist of current events in the Africa and Latin America that emphasize the influences these places have on the rest of the world.
